Ordered as E3X16, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 22 mm (0.87 in). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations.
