This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 17 mm (0.669 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 19 mm (0.75 in), catalogued under part number E1X17. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
