Part number E1.5X17 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 17 mm (0.669 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 20 mm (0.79 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists ketones, brake fluid, and water and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
