3MM CS X 18MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

The E3X18 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 18 mm (0.709 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 24 mm (0.94 in). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to water and steam, ketones, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

Common environments for this compound include HVAC and refrigeration, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.
