4MM CS X 25MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Part number E4X25 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 25 mm (0.984 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 33 mm (1.3 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is known for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. It resists water and steam, brake fluid, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants are present.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, solar and roofing assemblies, and outdoor equipment.
