-255 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70255 is an AS568-255 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and water and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants call for a different compound.
