Product Specification

-
APG stocks the E70NSF260, an AS568-260 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.484 in (164.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.762 in (171.75 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) offers very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact and carries NSF listing. It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, brake and phosphate ester systems, and potable water applications.

Order part number E70NSF260, sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 6.091 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 6 1/2 inch. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. If you need a size, durometer or compound that is not listed, APG can cross-reference from a print, a sample or a competitor part number.
