E1X28 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 28 mm (1.102 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 30 mm (1.18 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
