4MM CS X 36MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

The E4X36 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 36 mm (1.417 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 44 mm (1.73 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Expect good resistance to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and brake fluid. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.

Typical settings include HVAC and refrigeration, potable water applications, and water and steam systems.
