5MM CS X 45MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

The E5X45 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 45 mm (1.772 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 55 mm (2.17 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across brake and phosphate ester systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and outdoor equipment.
