3MM CS X 56MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

The E3X56 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 56 mm (2.205 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 62 mm (2.44 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists dilute acids and alkalis, ozone, UV and weathering, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
