This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 7 mm (0.276 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 11 mm (0.43 in), catalogued under part number E2X7. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
