2.5MM CS X 72MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Ordered as E2.5X72, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 72 mm (2.835 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 77 mm (3.03 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. It resists ketones, brake fluid, and water and steam. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in water and steam systems, outdoor equipment, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
