This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 94.5 mm (3.72 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 100.5 mm (3.96 in), catalogued under part number E3X94.5. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. This material stands up to ozone, UV and weathering, ketones, and brake fluid. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
