EPDM (EPR) is specified for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and water and steam. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
