-109 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-109 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC109. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. It resists brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
