APG stocks the 315CAL, an Ever-Tite Aluminum Part C Female Coupler x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a female coupler end.

Aluminum is specified for a high strength-to-weight ratio that eases handling of large sizes, fast, tool-free make and break in the field. The material holds up against general atmospheric corrosion, weathering, and many petroleum products. It is not the right choice where strong acids and alkalis or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.

Specification compliance: MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. Common environments for this compound include construction and dewatering, petroleum transfer, and general industrial hose service.
