This cam and groove coupling is supplied in Ever-Tite Aluminum with a 1-1/2 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 315D90AL. It joins a female coupler end to a threaded connection.

Aluminum is specified here for good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles. It resists weathering, many petroleum products, and general atmospheric corrosion. Applications involving strong acids and alkalis or prolonged salt water immersion call for a different compound.
