1 1/2 DUST CAP ALUM ETC

Part number 315DCAL is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

The material holds up against weathering, general atmospheric corrosion, and many petroleum products. Aluminum is widely chosen for fast, tool-free make and break in the field, a high strength-to-weight ratio that eases handling of large sizes. It should not be specified for service in prolonged salt water immersion or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. Typical settings include general industrial hose service, tank truck and bulk transfer, and petroleum transfer.
