1-1/2 D 90 DEG BRASS

Brass is specified here for non-sparking characteristics valued in some environments and excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. The material holds up against corrosion in water service, moderate pressure, and atmospheric exposure. It is not the right choice where ammonia and amine compounds or strong acids are present.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Common environments for this compound include petroleum transfer, water and irrigation, and plumbing and process piping.
