1 1/4 PART B 316 S/S ETC

The 312BSS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Part B Female Coupler x Male NPT Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. This cam and groove coupling joins a female coupler end to a male NPT thread.

Stainless Steel is specified here for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. Expect good resistance to salt water and washdown, corrosion and oxidation, and chemical attack. It should not be specified for service in chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.
