312BAL is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Part B Female Coupler x Male NPT Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling joins a female coupler end to a male NPT thread.

The compound resists general atmospheric corrosion, many petroleum products, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aluminum is specified for economical cost per connection and a high strength-to-weight ratio that eases handling of large sizes.
