1 1/4 PART B BRASS ETC

Ordered as 312BBR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Part B Female Coupler x Male NPT Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling joins a female coupler end to a male NPT thread.

Brass is specified here for excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads and good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints. It resists corrosion in water service, atmospheric exposure, and moderate pressure. Exposure to ammonia and amine compounds or strong acids will shorten service life.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in plumbing and process piping, water and irrigation, and petroleum transfer.
