1 1/4 DUST CAP BRASS ETC

This cam and groove coupling is supplied in Ever-Tite Brass measuring a 1-1/4 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 312DCBR. It closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

It resists atmospheric exposure, moderate pressure, and corrosion in water service. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is known for good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ammonia and amine compounds.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across petroleum transfer, general industrial, and plumbing and process piping.
