APG stocks the 312DPBR, an Ever-Tite Brass Dust Plug Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/4 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a male adapter to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Brass is specified for non-sparking characteristics valued in some environments and excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. It resists atmospheric exposure, corrosion in water service, and moderate pressure. It should not be specified for service in ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water.

Specification compliance: MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Typical settings include petroleum transfer, plumbing and process piping, and water and irrigation.
