305CSS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Part C Female Coupler x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1/2 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a female coupler end. The catalog record notes: Does Not Interchange With Toughtite.

As a material, Stainless Steel is valued for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, dimensional stability under thermal cycling. It resists elevated temperature, salt water and washdown, and corrosion and oxidation. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades are present.
