As a material, Brass is valued for good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, an attractive, durable finish. The material holds up against moderate pressure, corrosion in water service, and atmospheric exposure. It is not the right choice where dezincification in aggressive water or ammonia and amine compounds are present.
