1 DUST PLUG BRASS ETC

The 310DPBR is an Ever-Tite Brass Dust Plug Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1 inch nominal size. This cam and groove coupling closes off a male adapter to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Brass is valued for good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. The material holds up against moderate pressure, corrosion in water service, and atmospheric exposure. Applications involving ammonia and amine compounds or strong acids call for a different compound.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. You will find this material specified across water and irrigation, plumbing and process piping, and general industrial.
