Ordered as 325DSWSST, this is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Part D Female Coupler x Female NPT Cam and Groove Coupling with a 2-1/2 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling joins a female coupler end to a female NPT thread.

Stainless Steel is specified here for hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. The material holds up against corrosion and oxidation, high pressure, and salt water and washdown. It should not be specified for service in chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.
