2-1/2 PART C FORGED BRASS

Ordered as 325CBR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Part C Female Coupler x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling with a 2-1/2 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a female coupler end.

Brass offers non-sparking characteristics valued in some environments and good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints. This material stands up to atmospheric exposure, moderate pressure, and corrosion in water service. Applications involving dezincification in aggressive water or strong acids call for a different compound.

This part is produced in accordance with MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Typical settings include water and irrigation, general industrial, and petroleum transfer.
