*2 1/2 DUST PLUG BRASS ETC

325DPBR is an Ever-Tite Brass Dust Plug Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 2-1/2 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling closes off a male adapter to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Brass is specified here for good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. The material holds up against corrosion in water service, moderate pressure, and atmospheric exposure. It is not the right choice where strong acids or dezincification in aggressive water are present.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Typical settings include plumbing and process piping, petroleum transfer, and water and irrigation.
