2 DUST CAP 316 S/S ETC

APG stocks the 320DCSS, an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 2 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

As a material, Stainless Steel is valued for dimensional stability under thermal cycling and long service life in demanding outdoor environments. The material holds up against salt water and washdown, elevated temperature, and chemical attack. Exposure to galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades will shorten service life.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Typical settings include petrochemical, chemical transfer, and pharmaceutical.
