2 DUST CAP ALUM ETC

Ordered as 320DCAL, this is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 2 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Expect good resistance to many petroleum products, general atmospheric corrosion, and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aluminum is widely chosen for good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and economical cost per connection. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or strong acids and alkalis are present.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. You will find this material specified across construction and dewatering, agriculture and irrigation, and petroleum transfer.
