3/4 DUST CAP ALUM ETC

307DCAL is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling with a 3/4 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Aluminum is specified here for good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles. The material holds up against many petroleum products, general atmospheric corrosion, and weathering. It should not be specified for service in strong acids and alkalis or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.
