3 DUST CAP ALUM ETC

330DCAL is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling with a 3 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Aluminum is specified here for reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles and good corrosion resistance in general industrial service. Expect good resistance to weathering, general atmospheric corrosion, and many petroleum products. It should not be specified for service in prolonged salt water immersion or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across petroleum transfer, tank truck and bulk transfer, and construction and dewatering.
