3 DUST CAP ALUM ETC W/BRASS HANDLES

APG stocks the 330DCALBH, an Ever-Tite Aluminum Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 3 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Aluminum is specified here for fast, tool-free make and break in the field, good corrosion resistance in general industrial service. The compound resists many petroleum products, general atmospheric corrosion, and weathering. It should not be specified for service in strong acids and alkalis or prolonged salt water immersion.

Specification compliance: MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. It sees regular use in tank truck and bulk transfer, agriculture and irrigation, and petroleum transfer.
