This cam and groove coupling is supplied in Ever-Tite Brass with a 3 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 330ABR. It joins a male adapter end to a female NPT thread.

Brass is specified here for good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints, good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service. The compound resists atmospheric exposure, corrosion in water service, and moderate pressure. It should not be specified for service in strong acids or dezincification in aggressive water.
