Ordered as 330DCBR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 3 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

It resists atmospheric exposure, corrosion in water service, and moderate pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is valued for an attractive, durable finish and good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints. It should not be specified for service in ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water.
