33040FAL is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Increaser / Reducer Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 3 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 3 inch to 4 inch. In service, this cam and groove coupling steps a transfer line up or down in size at the coupling.

Aluminum is known for reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles and good corrosion resistance in general industrial service. It resists general atmospheric corrosion, many petroleum products, and weathering. It should not be specified for service in strong acids and alkalis or prolonged salt water immersion.

This part is produced in accordance with MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326 when anodized. It sees regular use in tank truck and bulk transfer, construction and dewatering, and petroleum transfer.
