This cam and groove coupling is supplied in Ever-Tite Stainless Steel measuring a 4 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 340BSS. It joins a female coupler end to a male NPT thread.

Stainless Steel is known for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. The material holds up against corrosion and oxidation, high pressure, and elevated temperature. Verify compatibility before use with chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in pharmaceutical, food and beverage processing, and petrochemical.
