This cam and groove coupling is supplied in Ever-Tite Stainless Steel with a 4 inch nominal size, catalogued under part number 340DSS. It joins a female coupler end to a female NPT thread.

Stainless Steel delivers a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. It resists high pressure, salt water and washdown, and chemical attack. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in pharmaceutical, chemical transfer, and food and beverage processing.
