The 340FSS is an Ever-Tite Stainless Steel Part F Male Adapter x Male NPT Cam and Groove Coupling with a 4 inch nominal size. This cam and groove coupling joins a male adapter end to a male NPT thread.

Stainless Steel delivers dimensional stability under thermal cycling and a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines. Expect good resistance to high pressure, corrosion and oxidation, and salt water and washdown. Applications involving chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals call for a different compound.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in food and beverage processing, marine and offshore, and pharmaceutical.
