Ordered as 340A90AL, this is an Ever-Tite Aluminum Part A Male Adapter, 90° Elbow Cam and Groove Coupling with a 4 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling turns the line through 90 degrees behind a male adapter end.

This material stands up to many petroleum products, weathering, and general atmospheric corrosion. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aluminum offers good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles. It is not the right choice where strong acids and alkalis or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
