Aluminum is valued for fast, tool-free make and break in the field, economical cost per connection. Expect good resistance to weathering, general atmospheric corrosion, and many petroleum products. Applications involving galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or prolonged salt water immersion call for a different compound.
