APG stocks the 340BBR, an Ever-Tite Brass Part B Female Coupler x Male NPT Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 4 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling joins a female coupler end to a male NPT thread.

As a material, Brass is valued for excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads, good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service. Expect good resistance to moderate pressure, corrosion in water service, and atmospheric exposure. Exposure to strong acids or dezincification in aggressive water will shorten service life.

This part is produced in accordance with MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Common environments for this compound include water and irrigation, plumbing and process piping, and petroleum transfer.
