As a material, Silicone offers physiological inertness and low toxicity, excellent electrical insulating properties. This material stands up to extreme heat and cold, ozone and UV exposure, and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -80°F (-62.2°C) to 450°F (232.2°C) in continuous service.
