Ordered as V60FDA002, this is an AS568-002 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.042 in (1.07 mm), a cross section of 0.05 in (1.27 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.142 in (3.61 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
