Product Specification

-
Part number V60FDA028 is an AS568-028 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.

Stocked as V60FDA028 and sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.5707 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 1 3/8 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
