Product Specification

-
The V60FDA115 is an AS568-115 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.674 in (17.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.88 in (22.35 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.

Reference part number V60FDA115 when ordering; the item is sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.6454 g. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design. For a size or compound outside the standard catalog, APG can quote from a print or sample.
