Product Specification

-
Part number V60FDA116 is an AS568-116 white Viton® (FKM) 60 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.737 in (18.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.943 in (23.95 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. Typical settings include chemical processing, oil and gas, and aerospace.

This item is sold individually under part number V60FDA116. Unit weight is approximately 0.775 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 3/4 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation. APG supports cross-referencing from drawings, samples and competitor numbers when a listed size is not an exact fit.
